SBI's Wecare deposit scheme for senior citizens offers 7.25% on deposits with maturities of 1 year to less than 2 year, 2 years to less than 3 years, 5 years and up to 10 years

HDFC Bank Senior citizen FD rates

HDFC Bank offers a premium of 50 basis points to senior citizens on FD deposits. The bank is currently offering up to 7.75% to seniors for deposits with maturity of 5 years, 1 day to 10 years; interest rates on most other maturities is 7.50%.

ICICI Bank latest FD interest rates

The bank offers up to 7.5% to customers aged 60 or above on deposits of less than Rs 20 lakh on these maturities: 15 months to less than 18 months, 18 months to 2 years, 2 years 1 day to 3 years, 3 years 1 day to 5 years, 5 years 1 day to 10 years.

Canara Bank senior citizen deposit rate

Canara Bank offers an additional interest rate of 0.50% on domestic term deposits (including RD and except for NRO, NRE and Capital Gains Deposit scheme) of less than Rs. 2 Cr and with tenor of 180 Days and above, over and above the rate offered for general public. The bank offers up to 7.5%.

Indian Bank launched the Special Retail Term Deposit product 'IND SHAKTI 555 DAYS' on December 19, 2022, offering a 7.50% rate of interest to senior citizens for deposits starting from Rs 50,00 to less than 2 Crore for 555 days in the form of FD/MMD with callable options.

BoI offers 0.50% additional interest above card rates for general public for minimum deposits of Rs.5000 (in case of Term Deposits) & Rs.100 (in case of Normal RD account & Rs.1000 for Flexi RD Accounts) up to Rs 2 Crore for term deposits of 6 Months & Above to 10 years.
